Membership & Subscription

HiTide operates on a rolling monthly membership, 12 months of the year. Your monthly subscription is not a payment for a specific number of individual classes; it is a membership fee that retains your gymnast's place within the club and their regular class throughout the year.

Our gymnastics year is structured across four periods:

• Autumn Term: September–December

• Spring Term: January–April

• Summer Term: May–July

• Summer Schedule: July–August

Like schools, we take scheduled breaks and closures throughout the year, including during some school holiday periods. Monthly subscription fees remain unchanged during these periods, as fees are calculated across the full year rather than charged on a class-by-class basis.

Summer at HiTide

During July and August, we move away from our usual term-time timetable and operate a more flexible Summer Schedule.

We know families are often away at different times over the summer, so rather than expecting gymnasts to attend the same weekly class throughout the holidays, our Summer Schedule allows members to attend multiple available sessions each week, helping families work gymnastics around holidays and other summer plans.

Your membership continues throughout this period and your gymnast's regular place is retained for the new term.

Your Membership

Your monthly subscription should be thought of as membership of HiTide Gymnastics rather than payment for individual sessions.

Membership secures your gymnast's ongoing place within the club, access to their programme and coaching pathway, and access to our Summer Schedule.

Fees are therefore not reduced or refunded for individual missed sessions, family holidays or scheduled club closures.

By maintaining an active membership throughout the year, your child's place remains theirs - including when our regular timetable resumes following a scheduled break.

British Gymnastics Insurance

HiTide Gymnastics Club is a British Gymnastics registered club. All gymnasts participating regularly at the club are therefore required to hold the appropriate current British Gymnastics membership. This applies to both recreational and competitive gymnasts.

British Gymnastics membership is separate from your monthly HiTide subscription and is not included within the monthly fees shown above.

Membership is held directly with British Gymnastics and runs for 12 months. Depending on the membership category, benefits can include personal accident cover, access to British Gymnastics programmes such as Rise Gymnastics, welfare and Safe Sport support, and eligibility to participate in appropriate British Gymnastics events and competitions.

When joining HiTide, families will be given the information required to register their gymnast with British Gymnastics. It is the parent or guardian's responsibility to ensure that their child's British Gymnastics membership remains current while they are training with us.
